Airplanes transport dangerous goods and hazardous material every day across the world. The International Civil Aviation Organization, or ICAO and IATAstandardize safety procedures worldwide and set basic legal requirements that dictate how dangerous goods are to be transported. The Dangerous Goods Regulations, also called the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, are a set of guidelines to establish worldwide safety standards. The DGR classifies dangerous goods and specifies their shipping, packaging, labeling, handling, documentation, declaration, hazard assessment and emergency response requirements.The following courses demonstrates these regulations.
